Here are we, one magical moment, Such is the stuff, From where dreams are woven.
Beautiful words aren’t they.
For David Bowie novices, they are taken from Station to Station.
Let’s dissect them, unrelated to the song of it’s origin, for the purposes of this blog, for a moment.
Here we are, at the station, the cross roads, at each moment. And we have the power to choose, a direction.
The words have permeated my being over the last week. Humming like a mantra. Guiding, and reminding me, that every transaction, every conversation, is a magical moment of intention, and manifestation, where dreams can take real traction.
And each of our dreams is unique, and forms a potential of dream collectives, as opportunities, for humanity.
We are presented with hundreds of choices, every day, at various moments. Opportunities to decide, and to create, the mood, and love, we may wish to generate.
The words we choose, the way we relate, and the actions we take, are magical. They offer great potential. And create new possibilities, with everything we do, what we can conceive, and how we can achieve.
That’s how much power we wield, to lead.
Consider a few of those daily opportunities:
If you’ve made a commitment to your health, each menu decision, presents a magical moment towards transformation. The choice, of what you consume before it becomes a new habit, is presented in every meal moment.
If you have a business idea, or are considering a new career, each step of positive action, creates another magical interaction, for learning, and discovering, the next best course, and outcome, of expansion.
Each performance review gives a chance to build an authentic conversation, and a bridge of relational, attitudinal, and work related advancement.
Every coaching conversation offers a myriad of dimensions, on how dreams and plans can progress with greater enthusiasm.
Every time you speak to your child, is an opportunity to build their esteem, growth, and well-being.
What power we do wield! In the mindfulness of magical moments, that we conceive.
And, yes, sometimes, it’s easier said than done, when we’re in the thick, and on the run.
Yet Winter gives a great time. To practice. To have some fun. To savour moments. As you lean into some slowness. Of hearts and of minds. Of hearths and of relations. And of warmth in conversations.
Pause, and consider the words, as the moments come.
Wear them on your hearts. Place them in your minds. Put them on your whiteboards. Your planning agendas. See how they can change behaviours.
And weave, with your mandalas of wholeness, that satisfactory feeling of warmness, for the dreams, that you may wish, to achieve, with the people you need.
